I'll start by saying this is my first time in Germany and I have zero knowledge or expertise with German cuisine. I chose to sit inside for a different experience. It wasn't very busy inside or outside for a Sunday afternoon about 1:00pm. I had the Linsensalat mit rinderbrust (lentil salad with beef brisket) and it was outstanding. I also had the Mousse au chocolat for dessert and it was really good. The service was exceptional and a few of the servers spoke English very well so I had zero issues.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful area near the castle and has fair prices. However, the customer service is very slow and they waiters don't wipe the tables only if you ask and insist on them. We'd ordered hot drinks, but they came almost cold.
