The space was nicely decorated. The food is delicious and authentic. The dishes came relatively quickly. We ordered the ‘banh xeo’, ‘banh canh cua’, and ‘hu tieu nam vang’. All were tasty, the ‘banh xeo’ was perfectly crispy. The portions were also generous. We came on a saturday morning, shortly after opening time, and it was snowing, so it wasn’t crowded, and experienced pretty good service.

Seeing the overall rating of 4.7, I honestly expected more. We ordered pho, a small tom yum (to me it tasted more like a variation rather than the authentic version I’m used to), and a curry with duck breast. The duck had a somewhat unusual smell that I personally didn’t find appetizing, and the oil it was cooked in tasted like it might have been reused multiple times. My husband also had pho, and we both felt that the broth lacked depth and richness. I do know several other places in Berlin where these dishes are prepared much better.
