Place with wasted potential. Nice interiors and welcoming staff looked promising. Unfortunately, with exception to one dish, it was a disaster. Tomato soup was ok, but seemed watery. Spaghetti aglio w olio was good (hard to make it bad though 😉), spaghetti carbonara was literally soaked in some sauce which was based on milk/cream some yolks and some speck. No specific taste, really. Left most of it uneaten. Finally, some pasta with shrimps in tomato sauce was not good at all. We left it half eaten. We came here on our first night in Berlin after reading the good reviews. We ordered the focaccia to start and the beef pasta for mains. The focaccia wasn’t even focaccia. As you can see from the photo, it was just crispy pizza crust. Very, very dry. The pasta sauce was okay but quite watery, and I’m 99.9% sure we were served pork not beef. It was grey and very chewy, almost like gristle. Very disappointing; especially for the price. The atmosphere was cute and the staff were welcoming and friendly until I said I wasn’t leaving a tip. Out teenagers enjoyed the waiter’s humour and professionalism more than the food. The food was quite okay. Rich and balanced flavors, served piping hot. It’s really just that our 13yo can’t handle a pizza that he can’t eat with hand. So he was grumpy. But look, despite the “trouble”, he polished off everything.

What a lovely spot, small dining room felt cozy and inviting. Food was great, feels like more like a neighborhood restaurant where locals would go verse the city vibe of the surrounding area. They had Gluten Free pasta which was great.
