Had a late breakfast here. Food was perfectly fine if fairly standard. It is pleasant sitting outside hearing the regular chiming of the bells while watching the world go by. Which we had plenty of time to do as for our visit, the service was slow. We saw at least one group sit down, wait, then get up and leave without being served. This might have been an aberration or maybe they were just short staffed that day. Still, a nice cafe.

Since the change of ownership, the Museum Café has noticeably evolved. The café already had a lovely atmosphere, but you can tell that a fresh, modern feel has arrived. The selection is more diverse and creative, especially the beverage options. The new matcha and coffee combinations are truly delicious and beautifully presented. Everything seems well-thought-out, modern, and executed with great attention to detail. You can tell that a lot of passion has gone into the concept and the selection of products. Definitely my new favorite café.

Prices are far too high. I ordered a "small savory snack" and received one dry roll with a slice of ham and a slice of salami, plus a pre-packaged packet of butter like in a hotel... all for a whopping €8! Not satisfied, I ordered pancakes, which were stacked on top of each other. Unfortunately, they were also dry and not homemade! On top of that, they were already cold. €6-9 for that is very steep. After speaking to the waitress, she said it was her first day and she would inform the kitchen, but unfortunately, we weren't able to resolve the issue further. The only good thing was the drinks
