I’d recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to go for brunch on the weekend. We showed up and, luckily, they still had a few small tables available for walk-ins. Service was good and the food was pretty delicious. It’s more of a sit-down spot, not really a quick breakfast place. Make sure you have enough time to enjoy your meal and finish with one of their pastries.

Had a wonderful brunch experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The Shakshuka was absolutely outstanding—rich, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. The Greek Omelette was equally delicious, with fresh ingredients and a great balance of flavors. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely brunch. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a great brunch place, I can highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the food was very mediocre. It looked fine, but the taste was simply not there—everything was bland. I’ve never had a truffle and egg dish with so little flavour. The menu mentioned “our creamy butter,” which sounded promising, but it turned out to be standard pre-packaged Meggle butter. The salad was just a basic pile of leaves, poorly presented and uninteresting. Service didn’t improve the experience. The staff seemed overwhelmed, constantly rushing around. We really enjoyed our visit to Café Hegel! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern, stylish interior and plenty of natural light from the large windows. The food was absolutely delicious – everything tasted fresh and well‑prepared, and the brunch options are varied and creative. The service was friendly, though a bit on the slower side, but it didn’t take away from the overall pleasant experience. We’ll definitely come back for the food and the great vibe.
