Stumbling into Glücklich was the most amazing and surprising experience in beautiful Trier! Although we didn't book a table in advance but crashed into the lovely tiny restaurant spontaneously with 16 people, the wonderful staff made it possible to welcome us for an unforgettable evening. They brought us mixes of their amazing tapas, one better than the other. Accompanied by very nice wine (Rioja). Finished with crazy good dessert, allowing us to finish our dinner even a little later after closing hours. Muchas gracias!

Glücklich is a fascinating place. The kitchen approaches its food with the same care and attention that an artist devotes to their work. The artworks displayed throughout the restaurant add another dimension to the experience, constantly reminding you that you are dining in an art gallery as much as in a restaurant. During a stop in Trier I dined at this tapas based restaurant that is located in the heart of the main walkway. Reservations are highly recommended as it appears to get busy & sought after amongst a strong following of guests . I was there for a mid day lunch and the Menu is a great representation of tapas dishes . I chose a trio of dishes.
