"Auerbachskeller Wesel" was a wonderful surprise for us. We searched online for a restaurant in Wesel, and this one appealed to us the most. However, the restaurant isn't in the city center, but just east of Wesel Hauptbahnhof train station. Therefore, it's located in a residential area. There are a few tables on the terrace outside. If you want to sit inside, you have to go down a long staircase, as the actual restaurant is housed in a vaulted cellar. However, it's a cozy restaurant. You'll receive a very friendly welcome. We had a really delicious Yugoslavian meal. I had cevapcici, which were very well seasoned and flavorful. My girlfriend had the steak skewer. The meat was grilled perfectly. The fries were crispy, and the djivec rice was very tasty and well-seasoned! Highly recommended!
