Good news: the food quality is as good as ever. Bad news: service quality has taken a nosedive straight into hell. If the place is half full, you don’t expect servers to be sleepwalking around the place, straight up ignoring you although you are yelling and waving at them. Maybe I’m being unfair and the man had zero peripheral vision and was deaf in one ear. If the place is half full, and you order three items, you should be able to trust they will get your order right. But you’d be wrong - twice. Ordered the 2 person paella, only a half portion showed up. Ordered the cheese plate, and it came without the quince paste and truffle honey. When we complained, the senior server said they had delivered the wrong plate and this plate had no condiments. We pointed out that every type of cheese came with. They took the menu back behind the bar to study. After a lot of head scratching, they finally concluded that yes, this was the right cheese and yes, they didn’t realize it came with condi

I don’t give a lot of 5 star reviews! But I liked this place enough to come back for my last night in HK! Great view of the harbour. Reasonably priced wine and cocktail menu. Friendly service. What’s not to love? I did tapas and wine both times. Nothing special on either front, but I went five stars since it was memorable to come back for a second visit. You have to find it in the back of the ground floor of the ShangriLa Hotel. You’ll be glad you did. Came back a year later. Loved it then. Loved it again! 😍
