Cosa dice la gente

Had lunch there to celebrate Father’s Day. Great atmosphere with a view. Food is excellent. Free parking up for three hours under valet parking at the hotel.
Had been to this restaurant for few times and never disappointed me. The manageress Julie Jiang should be highly commended in view of her service. She was polite, responsible with a smiling face which rarely found these days in Hong Kong food industry
Enjoyed the fried red rice with scallop and preserved vegetables. Light and crispy, flavours were on point. The steamed minced pork patty (which comes with a choice of squid, preserved vegetables or salted egg) was also yummy. Good usual dim sum options.

Here present themselves as high classic place so you better book in advance. We have lunch here and dim sum is ok in general as their signature is abalone cook in special way, you should try. Veg dishes they recommend is taste nothing 😮‍💨 Love their Chinese carrot cake as pretty warm while they serve. Dessert I had almond tea with egg white which is good. Price is a bit high vs quality. The service also not match to their classic image 🤣🤣🤣 But I like staffs who are taking care cleaning , they have big smile compare with duty manager You won’t miss any if you didn’t come over

Excellent Dining Experience! Had a wonderful meal at Ru Restaurant — great ambience, friendly service, and delicious food. Every dish was beautifully presented, well-seasoned, and full of flavour. A perfect spot for good food and great company — highly recommended!

—visit in 2024— Since our last visit things have changed so much. The food now was so much more presentable and generally above average food. Came here for both lunch and dinner and overall experience was decent. —visit in 2022— Never returning again. Came here for dim sum and was appalled at how much the quality dropped from since this restaurant first opened. We ordered 9 dim sum and unfortunately none of them pleased us. The shrimp rice flour roll, the shrimp was falling apart and separated with the roll, and the rice roll was thick. The egg custard bun, barely had any filling and the bun was dry. The baked bbq pork bun had a dent on the surface which they still served 🤷‍♀️ and the pork filling was dry. The shrimp dumplings, the skin was mushy and overcooked. The fried stuff was not freshly made and felt like it was sitting around for some time as grease and oil oozed out. By the end of our first order we were so afraid to order more because we didn’t know how disgusting the other

a hidden gem in a far away neighborhood at tsuen wan (30 mins drive is a long way in hong kong). traditional Chinese cuisine made with a modern twist and lighter taste, although the real traditional dishes are bit off par. service is attentive and adequate. place is new (and still smells of thinner) but the decor is cliché and bland. would come again just for the dishes.
