Visiting Sheroes Hangout Cafe is an experience I would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to support and learn more about the resilience of acid attack survivors. This inspiring café is run by remarkable women who have challenged social stigma and chosen to live with dignity, confidence, and purpose. The food was excellent. The paneer kofta, in particular, was exceptionally fresh, soft, and flavorful. What makes the café even more special is its unique donation-based model—you contribute what you feel is appropriate for the meal, and you can further support their cause by purchasing items sold at the café. Beyond serving great food, Sheroes Hangout is doing meaningful work by creating awareness, empowering survivors, and providing them with opportunities for livelihood and independence. It is a place that leaves a lasting impression, not just because of the food, but because of the people and the mission behind it.

Sheroes Café is a meaningful and welcoming place run by acid attack survivors, with a pay-what-you-wish model that operates as a donation rather than fixed food pricing. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options, and the food and service were both very good. There’s also information available about the cause, along with a small shop, making it easy to learn more about and support acid attack survivors while you’re there. A worthwhile stop that combines good food with an important mission.

We were genuinely impressed by our visit to Sheroes Hangout! This place is part of an amazing non-profit organization that helps survivors of acid attacks rebuild their lives — a cause that’s both heartbreaking and incredibly important, even in 2025. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The women who run this café are all so kind, strong, and proud — they refuse to hide and instead radiate confidence and joy. The interior is cozy and beautifully decorated, filled with charming little details and handmade items that instantly catch your eye. We also got some lovely henna designs done while we were there! And the food… absolutely delicious! The paneer was honestly one of the best we’ve had anywhere in India. Knowing that your meal supports such a powerful cause makes it taste even better — but even without that, it was fantastic. In short: visiting Sheroes Hangout isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience filled with heart, courage, and purpose. A place we would re

Good food. Good ambience. Ample space. Run by she-heroes and hence the name . Visit the cafe which is run by acid attack fighters, also realise that what their T-shirt says is correct - My beauty is my smile. Must must visit - Be it you are a local or a tourist. Hakka noodles and Manchurian was absolutely tasty. They all have a small section dedicated to selling local art and craft related things and gifting items. Very clean and hygienic place. Satyam was excellent at his work and met manini , shabnam, sudhaji and nagma - they treated us with love and smile, which added to our experience. Menu doesn't have any price. Pay what you like.

This is a truly unique and meaningful place. The café operates on a donation-based system, which already makes it stand out, but what makes it even more special is the purpose behind it. Attached to the café, there’s a small shop where you can find a variety of DIY products, all handmade by these incredible women. Around the space, you’ll also find parts of their stories displayed on the walls, which adds a very personal and emotional touch to the experience. I understand they also organize different activities and workshops, but unfortunately we were a bit short on time when we visited. We only had the chance to enjoy a tea and try some parathas, which were actually really tasty. You can pay either by cash or card, and as mentioned, everything works based on donations, so everyone contributes what they can. Overall, it’s a very interesting and inspiring place — almost a must-visit if you’re in the area. It’s not just about having a drink, but about supporting and connecting with t
