Had a great experience at Sambar Cafe. We tried the Rava Sada Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Podi Idli and Rasam — everything tasted authentic and full of South Indian flavors. The highlight was definitely the sambar and rasam. The sambar had that perfect homely taste with balanced spices, and the rasam was flavorful, comforting and refreshing. Their three chutneys were equally impressive — fresh coconut chutney, spicy tomato red chutney and unique green chilli peanut chutney, all paired perfectly with the dosa. The dosas were crispy, generously sized and filling enough that even one dosa feels like a complete lunch or dinner. Podi Idli was soft, well coated with podi and packed with flavor. A must-visit place for anyone looking for authentic South Indian food without overly commercial taste. Highly recommended for dosa and sambar lovers.

⭐ 1 Star Very disappointing experience at Sambhar Cafe. We ordered thatte idli, and it was served cold. When we politely informed the staff, a person from the management named Pankaj came over and outright refused to accept the issue. Instead of handling the concern professionally, he started arguing and behaved extremely rudely. What shocked us more was that while explaining, he touched the food with his bare hands, without using a fork or spoon. This shows a complete lack of hygiene awareness and basic hospitality sense. Our concern was genuine, but there was zero willingness to listen or resolve the issue. Finally, we had no option but to order thatte idli again, and to our surprise, we were billed again for the same item—as if customer satisfaction doesn’t matter at all. Arguing with customers, poor hygiene practices, and no respect for genuine feedback is unacceptable. Management seriously needs to train their staff on basic hospitality, hygiene, and customer handling. Won’t
