The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside in a corner. The sofa seating was comfortable, but the AC cooling felt a bit low. Personally, I'd recommend choosing the table-and-chair seating or the outdoor area if the weather is pleasant, as it offers a better ambience. It took a little longer than expected for someone to take our order, but we didn't mind much since it gave us time to chat. We ordered: Mysore Sada Dosa – 7/10: The dosa was perfectly crispy and tasted good. However, the Mysore chutney/gravy spread inside was a bit less, so the signature Mysore flavor could have been stronger. Podi Idli – 9/10: The highlight of our meal! The idlis were incredibly soft, generously coated with podi, and had a wonderful balance of spice and texture. The sambar and coconut chutney were absolutely delicious (10/10) and complemented both dishes perfectly. Service: 8/10 – Slight delay in taking the order, but the staff was courteous. Overall, it's a must-visit, budget-fr

If you’re craving authentic South Indian food in Mumbai, Muttuswami is definitely worth a visit. The highlight for me was the Muttuswami Special Benne Masala Dosa—crispy, buttery and packed with flavour. The 1-meter Paper Dosa is not just huge but also perfectly crisp and great to share with family or friends. I also loved the Tender Coconut Gelato, which was refreshing and a unique way to end the meal. The Flavour Filter Iced Coffee was another standout and the perfect finish to a South Indian feast. The food, flavours and overall experience genuinely gave me South India vibes right here in Mumbai. A must-visit spot for dosa lovers and anyone looking to enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine.

Mutuswami Cafe is located just outside Dadar East railway station, so it’s very easy to find and perfect for a quick stop after travel. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice if you want to sit comfortably or just grab something quickly. We tried the strawberry milkshake & mango milkshake both were thick, chilled, and refreshing. The paper masala dosa was big, crispy, and came with good chutney and sambar. Kanchipuram idli was soft and flavourful, a little different from regular idli and worth trying. Cheese tava rice was spicy, cheesy, and filling good if you’re very hungry. We ended with pineapple sheera, which was warm, slightly sweet, and had a nice fruity taste. Overall, it’s a good place for South Indian food and quick snacks near the station.

Here’s a clean, simple Google Maps review you can post: Visited Mutuswami Cafe today for dinner. Tried dosa and idli — the taste was good and felt quite authentic South Indian. The ambience is pleasant and comfortable. Service was average, nothing special but acceptable. Prices are reasonable for the location. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for simple South Indian food in Dadar West.

If you’re in Dadar and craving authentic South Indian flavors any time of the day, Muttuswami Cafe is the place to be! This is the only café in the area open 24/7, making it a perfect spot for early breakfasts, late-night cravings, or casual meetups at any hour. The food quality is outstanding, with every dish served fresh, flavorful, and satisfying: Cheese Pav Bhaji – perfectly buttery with a generous layer of melted cheese that elevates the classic taste. Podi Idli – soft, bite-sized idlis coated beautifully in spicy podi masala and ghee. Muttuswami Special Benne Dosa – rich, crispy, and soaked in butter with a delicious traditional touch. Spring Dosa – a unique fusion twist, crispy outside with a flavorful stuffed filling inside. Fruit Custard Dessert – creamy, refreshing, and loaded with fresh fruits for the perfect sweet ending. Their fresh juices are equally impressive — especially the pomegranate juice and the orange-mosambi mix, both refreshing and naturally sweet. What truly m

This place is located very near to Dadar East railway station... AC dining room. But the space is very small. Outdoor sitting area is spacious but one cannot sit there during daytime. Food was amazing tasty. A little higher price.. people may feel for this .. however if you compare to food outlets in the mall .. it's the same. Combos one can have .. quantity fulfills the hunger for one person. Overall nice experience. Recommended if around Dadar railway station.
