“Delicious vegetarian dishes that reflect the authentic Gujarati flavour. An excellent choice for those craving traditional tastes. However, be prepared for a slower service, with at least a 30-minute wait. Unfortunately, there's no seating available during the wait.”
“I think this is the best food I have tasted in a while ! The atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was clean and the dishes were their highlight. We had Puran Poli with Kadi the tastiest I had in years, and Methi Thepla with laal batata nu shak. The server was friendly and helpful.”
“Amazing food, simple yet delicious food. Would definitely this place again and again! So glad about the food today!”

Shirish Shenolikar★★★★Review: Soam Restaurant, Mumbai We stay in Chembur and our family visited Soam restaurant in SoBo for the first time and enjoyed a truly satisfying vegetarian dining experience. We ordered a wide spread of dishes — panki, sev puri, dahi puri, dahi bhalla chaat, watana ghughra, sada dosa, aloo puri with potato subji, thepla with red potato subji, moong dal khichadi and kadhi. Each item was flavorful, well‑prepared, and appreciated by everyone at the table. The service was prompt and courteous, making the meal smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere was decent, not extraordinary, but comfortable enough for a relaxed family outing. One point worth noting is the pricing. Compared to similar restaurants in the suburbs, Soam is on the higher side. Perhaps this is the premium for being a very popular SoBo (South Bombay) restaurant. Overall, Soam impressed us with its authentic flavors and variety. It’s a place we would recommend to anyone looking for wholesome vegetarian food in South Mumba

alok singh★★★★Soam near Babulnath Chowpatty is a lovely place to enjoy authentic, homely Gujarati food in a calm and welcoming setting. I visited on a weekday and had a wonderful, relaxed experience without any rush. We tried the Undhiyu, Jowar Roti, Puri, and Mango Lassi, and everything tasted fresh, balanced, and full of traditional flavours. The meal ended perfectly with a delicious Kulfi. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made the visit even more enjoyable. A great spot for anyone who appreciates simple, soulful Indian vegetarian food.
Amit Shah★★★★Too much over priced for no reason. You have food here only for taste buds. Then have meal somewhere else to fill your tummy, cause quantity is just not enough to fill your tummy. Each dish is worth Rs 400. The food quality, service, variety is amazing. But the food quantity is the smallest for possible. We had Handvo, Pani puri, Jowhar Pita pocket & faral starters platter. The drinks are 3 times over priced although good in taste but not at all worth the prices. Sugar cane juice is just average but for Rs 200, Pani puri: Good but nothing extra ordinary for that price
Patricia★★★★Went here on a weekday afternoon and the place was packed. I had to wait 30 mins to get a table for 2. The staff was polite and courteous. We tried the pankhi which was served steaming hot. It was soft and delicious but the quantity is less for the price. Next up we tried the farsan platter which had a few pieces of the palak samosa, dhokla and pattice. All them were so tasty and fresh. We also decided to try the Jowar pita pocket which was good but could do with less mayo. Overall it's good to try the gujarati dishes, though it is on the pricey side.
Sumit K★★★Food is good and freshly made, no doubt about that. Taste is nice and feels authentic, but honestly the price is toooo high compared to the quantity 😕. Most dishes are around 400 per person and the portion is very less, only enough for one person. Feels a bit over hyped when you look at the quantity vs price. That said, they do serve really good quality **authentic Gujarati food**. It’s a pure veg place with items like khichdi, ras puri, shrikhand, dal dhokli, bajra no rotlo, handvo, pooran poli, chaat and many more. They also have Jain food and fasting food during upvas, which is a plus. Taste is good, just wish the quantity was better for the price.
