Our first experience at Bay view cafe after recommendations from locals in colaba area. The location on the rooftop is definitely great with open views to the Bay Area and the gateway of India . Upon arrival they mentioned it would take an hour however they gave us a table within 10 minutes of waiting in the indoor dining area. We ordered a bunch of appetisers which everyone enjoyed and just one entree with some rice which was more than enough for the six of us. The rooftop ambience was great however I must mention to the management to keep it clean and more organised. The staff and was friendly and customer service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’d like to enjoy a nice lunch along the Apollo bunder area.

Visited the restaurant while staying at the Harbour view hotel. The buffet breakfast was quite nice spread with eggs made to order. Clarifying about the food rating of 3. Starters /Juices / American/European food - 5 stars However it's the Indian food like Biryani which was extremely disappointing. So if u visit this place for food. Please ensure to focus on things like pizza pasta etc for good food. Service is top notch. We went here at around 7-8 pm and the atmosphere was really amazing with the slight chill of the winter catching up. Gr8 place for a Saturday night family outing and dinner. Note - As the clock ticks deeper into the night...wait time might increase

We went here for a lunch when visited Mumbai and the place looked amazing. It is monsoon season hence outside seating was limited. This cafe has an amazing view of the sea and it looks surreal. It also has view of Hotel Taj and Gateway of India. We had lunch here and ordered pink sauce Pasta and fruit punch but not satisfied with the food at all. It has side bread so small and so thin and pasta was not well cooked. Even fruit punch was too much sweet. Overall we had ok experience with food but staff is good and view is extra ordinary.
