Monkey Bar, Vasant Kunj, offers a decent overall experience, but I felt it falls short when it comes to value for money. The biggest drawback is the pricing—most of the food items seem highly overpriced for the quality and portion sizes being served. While the menu has variety, the food itself didn’t leave a lasting impression and certainly didn’t justify the premium rates. The ambiance and theme are pleasant enough, but nothing particularly unique or memorable considering the prices they charge. I expected a more distinctive dining experience based on the positioning and menu pricing. On the positive side, the pool table and foosball setup are nice additions and help create a fun, social atmosphere for groups. These amenities definitely add some entertainment value to the visit. Overall, it’s an okay place to hang out with friends, but if you’re looking for great food and strong value for money, you may leave feeling a bit disappointed.

I feel like the architecture of Monkey Bar is still not talked about enough! If you go in the daytime, it’s so beautiful with light entering the place from all sides. The food is delicious! However, I think it only lacks in their drinks. They’re costly, come in tiny amounts and they’re not even that tasty. For a bar, it really needs to focus on their drinks more. But I’ll still keep going there for their game room alone. A pool table and a foosball table for free? I’m already sold.

This is an established and happening bar in south Delhi. It’s has a youthful vibe and lively ambience. The lighting is a little subdued, but adequate there is a ground floor in which they have a music jockey and first floor where there are tables laid out on a deck. The building itself is a triangular glass pyramid and you can see planes flying over on the way to and from the airport. The food is good and they gave a fairly large menu. The drinks are very reasonably priced and service was fast. It’s one of the few places in that part of town where you have beer and tap but unfortunately when we went there, there was none and highly recommended for small groups of up to 10 people for a party or dinner, but beware it’s noisy.

Great place! We only had drinks here and they had happy hour on buy 1 get one free. I got spirts and the mixer/soft drink is included in the price. They also serve beer & cocktails. Staff are so attentive and helpful! 25% tax added onto the bill at the end. They also have a pool table. Definitely worth a visit

I visited Monkey bar after exactly 12 years and I believe their claim of “New Menu, yet the same bold flavours!” It was a delight visiting and dining at Monkey bar. The food was at point with the place just as I remembered! Even after 12 years, they have retained their taste and quality! Their cheesy cigar rolls and stuffed kulchas are a must try! (Not saying you should stop at just these two!) The only thing I missed in peak Delhi winters was a hot coffee. But no complaints! They did have virgin hot toddy if someone needed rescue from the cold.
