Our first breakfast in Ireland had to be a full Irish breakfast, of course. I found Cafe Spresso, which was a short walk from our hotel, and it had pretty good reviews. It was a Monday at around 11 AM, and there was probably only one other table dining. The menu looked like it was a mix of Irish and Hungarian cuisine. We ordered the large Full Irish Breakfast (2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, black and white pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomato, toast, tea or coffee) and one of the Hungarian specials, a meat croquette, which comes with a cup of beetroot soup. Lovely little local cafe. Food is simple, no fuss, but cooked fresh and very tasty. Portion sizes are very generous for the price charged. Perfect spot after a night out. Will be back when we're next in Cork

What a perfect first breakfast of Ireland. The man who runs it is so affable and efficient. We went in around lunch on Sunday and he had a full restaurant and did great working through the crowd and getting everyone warm food. We did a student breakfast, French toast, scone, breakfast sandwich and hot chocolate. We did try any of the polish offerings but people seemed to enjoy those too. The business owner was so charming with our kiddos, the students, adults, tourists and everyone in between :). Eggs and toast were great, beans loved by all and scone made us get a second for the road. Hope to
