Kay Singh★★★★★I stumbled upon Darwin’s on my way back from St. Patrick’s Cathedral and was pleasantly surprised to snag a table without a reservation. The service was 'no-nonsense' efficient yet friendly. The rib-eye was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, a feat many places struggle with, the garlic butter sauce was the perfect finishing touch. For dessert, the polenta cake with orange syrup and saffron mascarpone was absolutely divine, paired beautifully with an elderflower spritz. Overall, a fantastic experience.

The old fashioned and negroni tasted terrible, I sent the latter back and wisely switched to wine. She ordered a peach mojito that was basically warm with a tiny sludge of mostly melted crushed ice floating on the top and full of visibly spoiled mint. The bartender should be completely retrained from scratch.
