Came here the other day with my boyfriend for some breakfast to soak up the many pints we’d had the previous night. We both had the full Irish breakfast - he requested fried eggs and I requested scrambled. It was flipping delicious. The black pudding was lovely - as was everything else on the plate! Friends found this on TikTok and found it highly recommended. From their understanding the staff are supposed to be "rude" to you but I didn't find they were. Maybe sarcastic but not rude. What was annoying was them telling everyone their credit card machine would be down and then you'd have to wash dishes or stay until it came back up. They did this to the table next to us but then came back and seemed like it was a joke and was like "oh it's back up." When it came time for us to pay they said it was down and needed to pay cash. Walked past here often and finally made it in for breakfast on my last day. Its a small cafe located in Temple Bar area with some tables and counter inside and if warm enough some tables outside. The lads working there are funny and keep up an entertaining banter. There is no cabinet food just a menu. The omelet was delicious! If you want something unpretentious with good food and some character give this a whirl.

We hunted for a proper Irish Breakfast experience and found EXACTLY what we we sought. The Stage Door Café is a cozy spot in the Temple Bar area, slinging stellar food and exceptional experiences. From the sound of food sizzling nearby, to the new friends we met through table- sharing, and the quick-witted, sometimes cheeky quips from our server, Graham... we were having a blast before the food even arrived. The flavor and quality of the food are enough to explain why there's always a line out the door, but the atmosphere adds another dynamic element to the experience. Can't say enough great
