Well yes sir the food is awesome! 3 of us (out of 4) ordered the club sandwich (which arrived in quick fashion) and it was outstanding! Fresh, flavourful accompanied side salad, beautiful fries and pint of Murphy’s. Super friendly staff, great atmosphere and (as mentioned) awesome food. Thanks Stags Head!

The building dates back to the late 19th century and still keeps much of its original Victorian interior, from the dark wood and mirrors to the old stained glass and classic pub layout. Walking inside genuinely feels a bit like stepping into another era of Dublin. What makes the place special is that it still feels authentic despite being well known and popular with visitors. Robert Wonneberger★★★★★Must have been the single worlds best toastie i have ever had in my entire live. 🤞 Stuffed with shredded Kassler and Béchamel this thing was properly good. The bread was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, and inside you get this generous filling of smoky, tender shredded pork that tastes just like Kassler, melted cheese, and a rich Béchamel that holds it all together. The thick cut chips have been more than good company for the toastie. 🤣
