Darren Tharp★★★★★I love a carvery. This place is absolutely splendid. I wish I had a place like this in the States 😆 The staff were excellent. The food was so tasty and there were HUGE portions. I and son and grandsons all got half portions and still couldn't eat it all. The beef was moist and easy to chew. The sides were great Cabbage with ham was glorious. Great experience today in a real Irish eatery. It was very busy but we got our food and sat down to eat in minutes. The Carver was a great guy .. Very personable for such a busy job. Thank you for the great meal.

What absolutely floored me was the staff. They greeted so many customers by name, asked genuinely after them, effortlessly helped them with trays, bags/push chairs. It's as if they are obsessed with customer service here. It's easy to see why on a Sunday afternoon there's a queue out the door. 16e for American, sandwich with side salad and crisps, and a bowl of fries.
Gary Farrell★★★Good spot Massive portions . Lasagne was slop cos it wasn't left to settle . I didn't see chips when I went up they where behind the main line so you had to ask for them . Portions are absolutely huge in the place . I can't fault the curry tho the chicken chunks in it where massive chicken was a little dry but it's not high end food its simple food for a simple lunch nothing 5 star about it but nothing low ball about it either They truly do bust your gut it's good decent good simple and regular good stop on a Sunday for a hangover cure .
