It does the job. The hotel is a mix of old-school and modern with the rooms recently refurbished (the bathrooms are a bit more dated). The bed felt a bit worn but it was still comfy. I didn't pay for breakfast so I can't comment on that. Soundproofing could be improved. You'll hear vehicles and people passing by, though it's mostly quiet at night. You can specify a room with a view online for a small fee.

To be honest, they don’t deserve any stars. The pictures they show online look nothing like what you see when you get there!!! The rooms were dingy and dirty looking!!! After check-in, we went to the room and found the facilities in the bathroom were not working properly. We went to reception to see if someone could fix and they refused advising they did not have anybody. First room had mold. I asked to be moved. The second room had a brown bodily fluid on the wall. Could be poo. Could be blood. Mattresses are sunken. I shudder to think what they look like. You are asked to sign something which I thought was standard hotel stuff but its a waiver to acknowledge the nightclub is going to vibrate through your walls until 3.30am. We were a touring group and the staff still tried to take 150euro off everyone after repeatedly telling them the rooms were paid for and covered by the company. The staff are rude and clueless. Warning to people who are going to book the Queens Hotel, I arrived and went to check in and was told that there would be a extra €150 deposit for the room for their "Non Smoking Policy" which I thought was unfair , I was checking out early and I then asked the staff when will I get my deposit back they told me I would have to wait until half 11 until the cleaners came in, which I thought was very unfair as any other hotel iv stayed in have gone to check the room when I have been checking out then I asked them when would my money be back in my account they first said that the cleaners would
