I tried the traditional Irish chips and went with the Garlic Parm signature—they were so good and really satisfying! Honestly, I could’ve finished the whole lot without leaving a single chip behind 😅 They were super tasty and the portion size was just right. My order came out in about 5 minutes, so the service was quick and efficient. The staff were also lovely—really friendly and welcoming. If I’m ever back in Galway, I’d definitely return. Highly recommend this cute spot, especially if it’s your first time visiting!

I came here on a sunny and cool Saturday around 2pm in mid April during a trip to visit to Galway. Our visit to Galway was part of an eight day trip to Ireland from NYC. Most of the restaurants on the main shopping street in Galway look very touristy so this seemed like a nice alternative to an overpriced and mediocre meal. Incredible hand-cut chips!I stopped by Chipeen on Shop Street and was blown away. It was amazing to watch them slice the fresh potatoes right in front of my eyes using the manual pull-handle cutter. We tried the chips topped with satay curry sauce and cheese, and the combination was absolutely delicious. The rich, nutty satay curry combined with the melted cheese was pure comfort food. A must-visit when you are walking through Galway!

Found a pop-up stand for this place in Dublin, just outside as we were exiting Guinness Storehouse. The garlic parm fries were phenomenal!!! They really load them up with fresh grated parmesan cheese. 10/10, highly recommend! Planning to visit Galway next week, and we will probably seek this place out to try the other varieties they offer.
