You can’t miss the iconic Coco Café when walking the Salthill Promenade, and the experience inside is just as bright! ​This is my go-to spot every time I’m in the area. There is something so "heavenly" about grabbing one of their excellent coffees and a fresh treat before (or after!) a walk by the Atlantic. Lovely staff and tastiest breakfast. Well their coffee on the go is my thing. Try to come early if you want to have the best corner table facing the ocean.

We came here for breakfast this morning and unfortunately it was a rather disappointing experience. We ordered cappuccino but it was very frothy and just tasted like from a machine (also didn’t look like the pictures on the reviews). It was too frothy and not silky at all. For the food: we had an omelette, the full Irish breakfast and a ciabatta sandwich. They were all ok but not that we would say we want to order that again. The location of the cafe is however amazing, right next to the seaside and the view is great. If the quality of coffee and food improves we would like to give it anothe
