LD BG★★★★★Went on a Saturday morning. The museum is affordable and very well laid out. The collection is quite unique and varied. I had the pleasure of Brendan as my guide. He was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate. I had limited time and he showed me all the highlights. I would return and spend more time. This museum is a must if you are in Limerick. Stunning building, great collection, friendly staff. Grateful for the experience.
Theresa Cullen★★★★★I Love this Museum! It is small by comparison to others, but it is jam packed with absolutely beautiful artifacts. It is fully accessibile and extremely enclusive. They even have an area for people with visual disabilities to feel replicas of artifacts and listen to talks about them. It really is a credit to the staff. They have an absolutely gorgeous cafe, with some if the nicest staff you will meet. I really cannot recommend highly enough.
William Lindsey★★★★★We loved the small, eclectic collection of the Hunt Museum, from the rather surprising silver death mask of James Joyce to the Egyptian statue of the god Thoth as a baboon and the late medieval Italian majolica devotional panel. The brightly painted horse sculptures outside the museum entrance, painted by local youth artists, are an especially wonderful feature of this cozy little museum.
