The owner (I presume the gentleman w/ the funky glasses) greeted us warmly upon arrival and accommodated us on a busy bank holiday without a reservation, which was really appreciated. Customer service was exceptional! The food was amazing and the cocktails were superb. Perfect spot for a solo dinner, a couple or a larger gathering. One of the best restaurants in Dublin. Highly recommend.

Every dish was very good to outstanding. True highlights for us were the duck croquettes with beetroot veloute and the trout in Paris butter. All this in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a winner, and we will return.

Given how expensive and highly rated this restaurant is, I expected the food to be at least decent. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I ordered the fish with fried gnocchi. The fish itself was edible, but it was bland and severely under-seasoned. The gnocchi, however, was where things really went downhill. When I saw “fried gnocchi” on the menu, I expected soft potato gnocchi with a crispy exterior. Instead, it tasted mor

The guinea fowl was quite dry, although I appreciated the sauce partnered with it. As well as this, the leeks were difficult to cut with the knife provided. The tiramisu however was really tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. While it had a sloppy presentation, it was packed with great flavour! I also really enjoyed my cocktail and I think I'd return solely for a round of drinks, but I don't necessarily think the food lives up to the price point when compared to si
