Great location on the river and near beautiful Dublin architecture. We stay in trio bedroom. Spacious and clean room. The ferryman itself has a welcoming atmosphere, a great selection of beers, live music and sports showing. Well behaved children were welcomed, we discussed this with staff at booking and they were very happy to help. Note: trip room is on top floor, for those with limited mobility the room is on the top floor.

A great spot for an after work pint or a weekend drink, especially if you want to catch some sport. I’ve been here countless times and it’s consistently reliable. Most recently I visited on the day of the Europa League final and the place was packed with football fans, but the staff handled it effortlessly and everything ran smoothly like it was just another day. Great location by the river. Nice pub downstairs, the young guys running the bar were very attentive. They also helped us store our luggage until we could check into the room. Only knock was the pub was a bit loud as we settled down to sleep after a long day of travel.

Great place at reasonable price. Room was a good size, bed was very comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. Tea making facilities in the room. Walkable to the city and Temple Bar area. There is a great cafe next door and restaurants nearby. Great bar and was not disturbed by any noise. Parking- best we found was the National College Parking €25 for 24 hours.
