Cosa dice la gente

Great vibes and excellent food. Gefilte fish - fresh, tasty Dumplings - juicy and fresh Beef with beans - meat tore apart easily, flavourful. Staff was helpful. Well worth the wait for a table.
Great Romanian food with a Polish twist. We tried the meat dumplings with fried onions- delicious. The Romanian kebabs had good flavor but a little greasy for my tastes. The Chicken schnitzel was perfect 😀
Meat lovers paradise! Traditional East European style food with a Mediterranean touch. Delicious, tasty, good! Fast friendly service, reasonable prices Definitely will be back!

Carmit Harari★★★★★

Probably the best restaurant in Haifa, Maayan Habira is a blue-collar diner that serves east European cuisine and a lot of different beer brands. I have visited many times, and even though there’s always at least one mistake with the food served to the table, this restaurant has never let me down. I recommend visiting on Friday when Cityhall blocks the whole street and the restaurant is deploying tables on the road (plus, sitting outside is not as crowded as the inside).

A great restaurant for those who love good beer and east European food. Everything was delicious. Also met there the Amazing Israeli food writer @amitaharonson. He was doing a piece about old restaurants that are still popular. The only thing that bothered me was that the chairs were too close to one another. It was hard to get up for the restrooms without moving all the ppl that are sitting at tables around you.

One of my favorite restaurants in Haifa and all Israel in fact. great (mid-east) European food with large selections of local and imported beer. efficient service. must try Kostiza, Kabab and spicy hotdogs. Portion are large, the salads are freshly made. The owner usually sit outside and make sure the customers are well treated .

A real institution. Opened in the 60's and hasn't changed much since then. The menu compliments the excellent draft beers. This is food that goes well with alcohol. Treditional Eastern European Jewish food and specialist meat dishes that can only be found there. We loved all the dishes we tried. The various expertly made sausages were the highlight. The service is friendly, super professional and the place has such a good vibe. Highly recommended.

A Jewish establishment. Such restaurant's are a rear breed. After decades of existence, it still maintains a very high level of food and service. Must visit when in Haifa
