One of my favorites in the "Old North" of Tel Aviv. We came here for breakfast, had coffee and two dishes. Coffee was good but the best part is the big, tasty and decent priced food. Avocado toast was great and so were the pancakes. I also recommend the French toast with the mascarpone & berries , wow!

Huge, fatty, filled with almonds on both sides, crunchy outside and soft inside, that piece of art, combined with great coffee and a smile, gave me a sense of hope. And yes, I haven’t tried the rest of the pastries yet

Food comes in a kit after being super overpriced. Complete waste of money. 17 boxes came for 3 dishes ordered. Now enjoy spending half an hour putting their dishes back together and remembering what’s supposed to go with what. Only thing they don’t separate - the granola so it arrives soggy. This Cafe offers European desserts that are a cut above the good cafes of Tel Aviv. All their pastries and cakes are made in-house from scratch on a daily basis so one is always assured to get same-day desserts. The service is truly excellent. The owner is acting as the "host" and he provides great service and genuine care for the customers. I have been there twice more during the last 2 weeks since my initial review and yhe quality and service eere as good as the initial visit. I am enclosing their menu since they also offer great meals. They have a small dining room and a good size patio with a retractable roof. The cafe retained the old decor and has an appealing 1940's-1950's feel to it (Patsy Klein, Lois Armstrong etc). The background music is also great and low enough not to overpower conversation. A single stall washroom is off the dining room on the same level.
