A truly wonderful experience! We didn't feel like tourists in a typical restaurant, but like we were visiting a family that cooks with love. The food was authentic, delicious, and made from high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the tradition in every bite. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is professional and kind. If you are in Bari, you must visit this place. It was the highlight of our trip!

Delicious orecchiette e cime di rape and orecchiette alla cardinale. Excellent half bottle wine recommendation. Delicious tiramisu. Our server was polite and efficient but didn’t seem too interested in offering us vegetarians any recommendations. The atmosphere is white table and subdued.

Taverna Verde was the best surprise of our trip to Bari. On a windy evening, we stumbled upon this little doorway that caught our attention with a sign saying it’s been around since 1925. The reviews were already excellent, and that was all the convincing we needed. We had a delicious seafood risotto that we’ll never forget, and the service was fantastic. The staff was fast, attentive, and it’s clear that the restaurant’s long history and tradition are present in every dish and detail. A kind gentleman, who we believe might have been the owner, personally made sure we tried a bite of Spaghetti

I visited this restaurant with three Italian friends. It has a warm, family-styled atmosphere, and the environment felt very friendly, even though I could not follow their conversations with staffs. The raw seafood - squid, oysters, and shrimp - along with the spaghetti, was especially delicious from a Japanese perspective. Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant very much.
