I had come here 3 times for breakfast during my week-long stay in Florence, ordering the exact same things - a brioche al pistachio and a cappuccino. The first two times the prices were the same (3,40€) and they gave a receipt. However, the last time, the male cashier changed the price from 3,40 to 3,70 and put ‘bomboloni’ as my order (I saw it on the screen of the cash register but didn’t know what it was until later I looked it up). He also did not give me a receipt. The 0,30€ difference is a very small amount but that was dishonest. I thought about going back to ask, but why bother? I liked

"Very unpleasant and arrogant service. We bought ice cream and wanted to sit at a table inside, but the staff wanted to charge us an extra €1 just for sitting there. I wouldn't recommend this place."

Loads of seating, indoor and out. Attentive, efficient, polite staff. Great coffee. Big, fairly clean bathroom!
