I had a wonderful, restorative stop at Scardaci Ice Caffè after a long guided tour. The location is exceptional and the atmosphere truly feels like a slice of authentic Italy. Very bad atmosphere and poor service. The waiters tax you for service at the table though they will serve you in a take away cup. They make a real difference between locals and non locals. Go further up on the street and avoid this one!

Great little cafe which serves fabulous desserts located in the main shopping area of Catania. The cannolis and the sweets I had was great (see pictures…not sure what they are called). There are also many restaurants on this street…my recommendation…do not have dessert at the restaurant. Have dinner there and come to this place for dessert.
