Food: The Risotto Seafood was exceptional! Rice was cooked well. Lots of seafood that combined well with the rice and flavorful sauce. Spaghetti al Nero was delicious as well. Loved eating here. Grilled octopus was a bit charred but overall good, pasta with seafood was amazing, my husband had horse meatball which disappeared before I could even take a picture! Cannolo is one of the best we’ve had. Loved that they have local lemonades and chinotto too. Staff is lovely. Only downside is that people smoke while eating, and with tables being so close to each other, you end up getting smoked on a lot.

stumbled upon vuciata the day we arrived in catania as it was right by our airbnb, and we are so glad we stopped in for lunch! located in the vibrant pedestrian road via gisira amongst local market and vendors, underneath a stretch of colorful strung umbrellas, the ambience is one of a kind. service is polite and attentive, and food came out quickly. i had to try the pasta alla norma first of course, being an eggplant lover, and it was so good! pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the tomato sauce so fresh and sweet, complemented perfectly in flavor and texture by the fried eggplant and ricott

This place was recommended to me by the local BB owner and I’m so happy I went there. I took caponata and tuna steak and both were delicious. The pana cotta wasn’t too soft, so I would take a different dessert next time. There is big selection on wines by a glass, which is not always the case. The staff was attentive but relaxed too, what is plus for me. Overall this is a wonderful restaurant, the one you want to come back again.
