TOURIST TRAP! YOU ARE WARNED! This restaurant summed up perfectly as follows: All show, no substance. Look at my picture. The fork is bigger than the toast. Highly overpriced!!! We had ordered Avocado Toast as lunch. They came back with a single small toast with small bit of salmone, an egg, and an avocado spread. We had asked to leave the bacon and add more salmon. They did not. Unless adding more salmon means in Italia just a small little piece extra....??? The food is fine, but it is not out of the ordinary. What a delightful gem this was! As a party of six, two of which were vegan and one vegetarian, we loved our choices here. Straight off the bat they had a vegan salad listed on their menu, so you could tell they knew what they were doing! 😁 When we sat down, we saw that the menu was clearly marked with vegan and vegetarian options, another big plus. And the vegan salad was absolutely delicious, fresh and with fantastic flavor. They even created an arrabiata spaghetti for us off the menu, which was also super flavorful. Loved it! We were not expecting very much, but the food unfortunately was even a bit worse, to be honest.. The portion sizes were very little for the price. The taste not really nice. The street where you sit at, is more quiet though and offers a bit of relaxation. One waitress was very friendly, the others more on the annoyed side of things… bathrooms mostly clean. When I asked the friendly waitress for an iced latte, she was very helpful and made that possible though. All in all - I cannot really recommend unfortunately…

Stopped at Umami on the way back from Herculaneum. Sat on the patio and watched the world go by. Service and food delivery were quick. Ordered the Club sandwich with chicken - was a good size and possibly one of the tastiest I have had anywhere. Son ordered the Avocado toast and said it was good. Ordered a strawberry banana smoothie (cant remember the name) - was watery with very little flavor - not like the pictures on the menu.
