What an excellent find I came across on Maps. We didn't get to go beyond Florence this trip, but we wanted to try to find excellent pizza during our brief Italy visit. This spot did not disappoint! The crust was fluffy and light, very addicting. I highly recommend the ham and burrata, the salty bites were amazing. They gave a lot of ham! I've had this before in other places but it was really great here. The price was great, staff was very nice. We ended up here in the early evening and it was empty but it began to fill up quickly. Best pizza in Firenze!! I’ve been living here for 5 months already and still haven’t found a pizza better than Livio Pizzeria. I would really recommend the Crudo e Burrata and the Calabrese pizzas, and their Aperol Spritz is absolutely divine. The staff is super nice and helpful, and the location is central and very convenient. In my opinion, this place is a must when you visit Florence!

It’s the best pizza of my life!! I’ve had pizzas in Milan, Venice, Rome.. even tried Pizza Studio Temaki in Tokyo but nothing can beat this. Ordered the Calabrese for take out and ate it in our hotel across the road. I will come back to Florence for this pizzeria.

Overall, finding a great place in Italy is super difficult esp in tourist cities. Even “famous” ones aren’t good as they just become a marketing machine and start caring less about quality. As a NYer , pizza is one of my favorite foods and I’m so happy we ran into this place after doing lots of research. Foremost, it’s a small place, which is a good sign. And more I observed their clientele it was a good mix of foreigners and tourists. And service? Impeccable! Quality, top notch!
