If you get tired of eating only pastas and pizzas in Florence and want to get some salads or anything with more vegetables, I recommend this place. They have smoothies, a breakfast menu, salads, wraps, bowls, some sweet treats etc. They have a lot of seats and the staff is friendly. Woke up early while travelling in Florence and was looking for a nice, relaxing spot to have breakfast – stumbled across Shake Café on Via degli Avelli and it turned out to be the perfect find. The coffee was solid – proper Italian style with a rich, smooth flavour. Paired it with a fresh croissant, and honestly, that simple combo just made my morning. Sometimes you don’t need anything fancy – just good coffee, a nice pastry, and a chill vibe. Found out later that Shake Café actually has a few locations around Florence, but I really liked this one because it had a small outdoor seating area.
