Even living in Genova, it’s not often to find a restaurant that impresses us as much as Ostetrattoria did. We recently went for lunch and left genuinely blown away by both the food and the entire experience. My wife and I were visiting Genoa for the first time and were lucky to have one of our best meals during all of our Italian travels at Ostetrattoria! The restaurant is away from the more touristy areas and the detour is well worth it (the location is still walkable from Brignole station). I had such a beautiful experience dining here - my waiter was attentive and made great recommendations (the pesto gnocchi, the liguarian sea bass, and the perfect vermentino wine to enjoy with it). Our Airbnb host recommended this place for dinner on a night stay in Genoa and quickly became my favorite dinner in a 3 week Italy trip. This is a must when in Genoa.
