This was an amazing experience. We went there for lunch so it was already a bit crowded and I heard the sever say they were short staffed but she was amazing and attentive to everyone. I wish I remembered her name. My husband and I started with the Lardo on crostini which was surprisingly delightful. For main course I got the ravioli with ricotta and spinach and a walnut sauce…so good! I have to admit I was a little jealous of his meal. It was boar with polenta. Amazing sliced beef (the colonnata lard adds a depth of flavour) and flavourful pappardelle fresche al sugo di cinghiale! Beef tartare was fresh and lightly and the chicken liver crostini was hearty and toast added texture to the dish. We went back for dinner after lunch. Warm hosts and pet friendly spot.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Authentic Tuscan food, the cinghiale Is delicious. I had the Pappardelle which was handmade and so fresh, one of the best I've had in Tuscany. The stew was also amazing, the meat was so tender. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend. The wine selection had really good wines from local vineyards in Lucca which paired excellently with the meat.

Reviews said it was the best, fresh pasta in Lucca. We make our own pasta so we know this was wonderfully fresh! We had lasagna, and spaghetti carbonara, both excellent! Bread, salads, and garlic spinach were wonderful and fresh in the bruschetta was perfect. Good wines and wonderful service in a quiet corner - perfecto!
