Trattoria-style service, but portions aren't up to par. The tordelli were really good, even though they were served as if they were precious commodities. We ordered a portion for three and barely managed to make two and a half plates. We were forced to order two more portions, increasing the per-person cost. What a shame! We continued with fried meatballs and French fries. Everything was delicious. Even the coffee. I left with the feeling that if I'd had a Massa accent, things would have been different. But I'll almost certainly be back.

An old trattoria. The menu remains unchanged. A few sincere dishes. Appetizers with exceptional lard, best melted over sgabei (or panzanella, coccoli, or fried gnocchi). Onions and olives. And then the tordelli with meat sauce. Priceless. But the real delicacy is the fried meatballs. They're addictive. Save room for the Massese rice cake.
