I had one of the worst customer service experiences here. When I walked in to order, the male staff member didn’t even look at me. Then out of nowhere he asked, “Did you want to say something?” and immediately added, in a condescending tone, “I’m closing soon, next time you should ask before sitting.” He said this at 4:30 PM, even though the place clearly closes at 8 PM. The café wasn’t closing — he simply chose to be rude. His behavior was disrespectful, dismissive, and definitely gave off a discriminatory vibe. Love this place! Lovely atmosphere, bagels are great. Cheesecake is fantastic. Love the NY style bagel, and the fresh orange juice. However, one less star is for the chocolate cake that looks really good but it was kind of dry and fudgy only on the outside. Also a little pricey!

We came here on a Sunday and the food took around 40 minutes to arrive they didn’t have enough seats and when we went to ask after 30 minutes of waiting about the food we saw that the waiters and chefs were all standing there not doing anything. Plus they forgot half of what we ordered.

Terrible service. It took at least 10 minutes for a person to greet us and take our order. When we asked for the person to take our order, they seemed displeased and had a terrible attitude. The person who served us expected us to tell them our entire order with no hesitation and was incredibly rude about it. When one member of our party was confused about the menu, the waiter proceeded to get upset that we didn’t have our entire order ready. Food was awful. Avocado toast was extremely sour, and the poached egg was undercooked. Would NOT recommend eating here. If I could put a 0 star review
