Possibly one of the most amazing places I have visited in Modena, or wider Italy. You can see the authenticity of the place as soon as you walk in. The (what I’m assuming was) owner welcomed us warmly, sat us down, helped with the choice of food and drink. The pasta and gnocchi was literally melting in my mouth - it was the best pasta I have ever had in my life. I’m 30 and I eat a lot of pasta! People working in the restaurant as well as the customers, who we think may have been local, were the most friendly people we could have asked to sit next to. Went to dinner last week, I was with my boyfriend and we had a date. It was delicious, the owner was a really nice person, and very kind. We were very surprised how tasty and soft was the guanciale, it was the perfect combination with the smashed potato! In fact, we asked for Modena dishes or the nearby plates, so we can try something new aside from other parts from Italy. Very recommended❤️.

The food was great and was truly descriptive of the local cuisine. The chef was very helpful and helped me decide to try the tortelloni vecchia modena which was amazing. Strongly recommend if you want to try good food from the region for a good price and away from tourists!
