Just a short walk away from the train station you will find some of the best Sfogliatelle in Naples. They are freshly baked on site, served warm, and they have just the right amount of crisp. They had several other baked options to choose from. But let’s not kid ourselves I was here for the Sfogliatelle. Be sure to grab a number from the ticket machine and pay first, otherwise you will quickly find out that you are still at the end of the line. Prices are very reasonable. This is usually one of my first stops in town. Yum!

The sfogliatelle were freshly baked, warm, and perfectly crisp. They had many baked options to choose from, and everything looked fresh and tempting. It is only a short 4-minute walk from Napoli Centrale train station, so it was a perfect stop while we waited for our train. I’ve never had sfogliatella THIS good before! We visited early in the morning (they open at 6:00), just as fresh batches were coming out of the oven. The pastry was perfectly crisp and light, while the filling had just the right balance of creaminess, sweetness, and citrusy zest. Also, the staff were incredibly nice! When we asked if they had coffee to go with our sfogliatelle, one of them smiled and pointed us to the café across the street. He even waved to the staff there to let them know we were coming. I finally made it here before leaving Naples, and I’m so glad I listened to the locals! It’s conveniently located right near the train station, making it an easy and essential stop-by. The Sfogliatella completely blew my mind. The flakiness was incredible, and the level of sweetness was a perfect match for my cappuccino. It is truly a must-have in Napoli! On the other hand, the Babà was just okay for me and wasn’t quite my favorite compared to the pastry. Just a heads-up: the line is usually long, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time. My only regret is that I didn’t buy a second sfogli
