Before leaving the hotel Casa Nostra, we stopped at Lumia for a quick lunch on a scorching hot noon before exploring Palermo. The restaurant has a cosy vibe. Also liked the setting around the small pool, though I will admit it was a bit hot sitting there in the summer heat! The staff were lovely - nice and efficient without being overbearing. But the real star was the food. I had some gambas tempura that were quite good, but oh my, the spaghetti scordati (forgotten spaghetti) completely stole the show. What a great dish! The quality throughout was excellent. Overall, a very good experience. I

Enjoyed my birthdays dinner in Palermo and Lumia was a very positive experience compared to the rather miserable touristic traps on the main roads. Elegant minimalist atmosphere with attention to the food. All very natural taste with a lovely authentic touch. The grilled artichokes very excellent but the lamb shops with pistachio crust where simply adorable. Great to try a local surprisingly well balanced Syrah whine. Definitely among the top places in Palermo.

We shared a beautiful dinner here. The chef prepared a special vegetarian pasta for me, which really amazed me. My partner ordered both seafood and meat and was impressed by both. Our soup was great and dessert was also exceptional. I can not recommend the wines served enough! The waiter turned out to be a very knowledgeable sommelier and found the perfect wine for each course for us - their Sicilian wines are outstanding. Thank you for having us!

Very atmospheric upscale experience. Small plates that seemed a bit infused with Asian flares. The seared tuna had a soy sauce blend with Italian flavors. We also got the octopus, and the veggie trio. All were good
