If I could, I'd give it less than zero, but unfortunately I'm forced to leave one star because it's not allowed. My family's experience was a disaster from start to finish. We used the self-service checkout to avoid the line, but the system is deceptive: it allows you to choose and pay for items (like the empty croissant in my case) that you later discover at the counter are out of stock, and in that case, there are no refunds. When we reached the counter, we were met with total chaos: a barista at the coffee machine and a completely confused young man standing in front of trays already full o

If you really have to, stop by for a quick coffee and that's it. The dishes on the ordering screen look beautiful and delicious, but they're absolutely disgusting. Between cold dishes and dry, tough chicken, nothing is worth saving.

It's not the first time I've had a snack at this bar... and I have to say I gave it a passing grade... the other day I had a toast... what could possibly go wrong in the preparation... of a simple toast?... what can I say... the bread was almost uneatable... let's not even talk about the ham... but the cheese??? Where's the cheese?? What else to say?? The guys at the counter are good and fast... but the managers need to give instructions on what to eat... have a good day

My parents, both retired, ordered two rosemary focaccias they'd seen on display in the window. After a few moments, the focaccias were already "on the griddle," which seemed strange to us. Once served, it became clear they weren't the same ones as in the window: the lettuce inside was wilted and the produce was clearly not fresh. It's unfortunate that the staff would retrieve stale focaccias instead of serving the ones on display, especially in a place like Esselunga, where the quality is usually good. I hope management will monitor the bar counter better: customers deserve truly fresh produce
