We arrived at 7pm and got a table even without reservation. What an awesome dinner we had tonight. Food was delicious and our server was really nice and friendly, even though we didn't speak Italian. Service was quick. Highly recommend the Parmesan meatballs to share! Grilled calamari was delicious!

This place is quite huge, after being in so many small restaurants in Italy, we were kind of surprised by the size of it. The menu is also quite large, thus there are options for basically everyone and at good prices. I would not say it was the best pasta we had in the area but it was still quite good. Service was fast as the wait staff is really on top of things, just know that you pay at the cash so you don't need to ask for the bill.

We decided to stop for lunch at Ristorante Marchesini on our visit to Ravenna as we were really looking for pizza, and the reviews were really good. For those in our group that didn't want pizza there was a good choice of pasta, fish and meat dishes. Very sadly shortly after we arrived we were told that they didn't serve pizza at lunchtime, only in the evening, so that was really disappointing. But the staff were friendly, helpful and the atmosphere was good, we were sat outside next to the narrow street in a very sunny position. The staff shuffled round the tables to accommodate our party

Great place, delicious, special mention should be made of the great wine from the restaurant owners. The waiter Grigorio is very attentive to visitors, explains everything, it is worth listening to his recommendations. We were very pleased. 100% will come back again!
