After a long, tiring day in Pisa, we returned to Rome, ready to eat! I had made reservations at Tempio di Minerva ahead of time. We were welcomed with a huge smile and good attitude, seated and immediately attended to. The restaurant is very authentic Roman tavern style, the tables overflow with food, drink and laughter. It was loud and vibrant, joyful ambience. People had come to eat and have a good time! My friend and I had supper last night here to celebrate our last night in Rome and we are so glad we chose this place! Maia was our server and she was the best. She was so warm and helpful. Her recommendations were spot on. She understands the pasta making really well. Their fresh pasta option was excellent and the vegetable pasta was very flavourful. My friend and I agreed it was one of our favourite meals in Italy.
