I am surprised with hype reviews. The food we tasted was very average and didn't leave any impression to remember. Service was just completely random and practically non existent. I would be very surprised if it's local Venitian place not a tourist trap. Almost none of the servers was Italian. The good thing about this place is that portions were generous and the garden is nice, romantic and a rarity in Venice.

I came here after a recommendation from the hotel concierge. I didn’t have a reservation but was given a nice corner spot. Also, I happened to be in a rush, nevertheless I ordered their menu which was great value for money. Portions are generous, service is warm and cordial. I’m very happy to see that there are still these affordable options available for locals, tourists, travellers alike.

Pasta was very good, but homemade tiramisù stole our hearts. It was fantastic! 10 out of 10. Probably the best tiramisù I ever had, and I was in Italy many times do far 🙂. (Much much better than the one at I tre mercanti)
