Grace L★★★★Today, I visited Amani ya Juu again after a long time. I really enjoyed seeing the workshop and looking around the beautiful items in the shop. I also enjoyed the lunch very much, both the salad and the quesadilla were delicious. However, when I was paying, I felt that the amount seemed higher than what I ordered. After checking the bill carefully, I realized there was an extra 500ksh added to the total amount, even though the listed menu items themselves were correct. Please make sure to check your bills carefully. Honestly, it made me wonder whether this was a mistake or intentional by the staff. I sincerely hope to have a better experience next time. Please continue to maintain the clean and trustworthy image of your wonderful place.

Ryan Conway★★★★★Lovely outdoor setting with a decent variety of healthy food and drinks. Good place to catch up with family and friends and even bring the little ones to play. Parking is limited yet very secure behind closed gates with a guard. There is a beautiful shop onsite that sells a variety of things which are not badly priced. This makes for a beautiful day out.
Ayush Jain★★★★A really lovely garden café for a relaxed catch-up with friends. Yes, there were quite a few mosquitoes, but the greenery and peaceful vibe still made it a great place to sit for a while. I had the hot mocha which was decent, and the Mombasa melt quesadillan, simple, cheesy, and served with guac and salsa that really hit the spot. There’s also a cute little gift shop attached to the café which is worth browsing. Nice casual spot if you want a slower, outdoorsy café experience.

Martin Yumbya★★★★My wife LOVES Amani Ya Juu Café! Its easy to see why; it is a hidden gem with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely warm service. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with great healthy options to choose from. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast, a quiet coffee meeting, or a light lunch. The calm ambiance makes it easy to unwind, and the overall experience feels both wholesome and authentic. I just wish they served beers :)
Allan Sawyer★★★★★We came here just for the craft store, but did not eat at the restaurant. The store is filled with beautiful, well-made, and brightly colored crafts, mostly from Kenya and Uganda. I hadn't planned on buying much, but ending up buying many practical things: beautiful placemats, baby gifts (I will be a grandpa soon), and a wood-carved "Asante" sign. This is a wonderful place to shop for some reasonably priced and beautiful crafts.
