☕️THE BEST BREAKFAST SPOT 🥙 I was in Nairobi during Easter period and I happened to bump into this place as I was looking for a place to have breakfast because I was tired of Java. Got in and Rose was taking our table. She was super sweet and very friendly and she is the one who recommended what I had. I’m not a heavy breakfast eater but I finished my breakfast that day. I was really impressed and will definitely come back and have lunch or dinner.

Desmond stands out with his attentive, personable service, which more than compensates for the minor drawbacks. A solid recommendation. Try the Thai curry and the chicken salad.

The cheese sauce that the burger was served in was curdled, as you can see in the picture. I can't even imagine making a cheese sauce that bad and serving it to anyone. The tiramisu wasn't even tiramisu?? It was literally 2 slabs of bad cake with mascarpone cream frosting. Don't advertise it as tiramisu then. You're social media team is really working over time. Pay them more.

We were served by Rose today and All the Staff has been amazing , after yesterday’s wonderful experience here at Mode; cafe my 8 year old and I had to return. This is our breakfast/Brunch and “GoTo” place in Nairobi! The taste and aesthetic of the food and drinks are perfect and the place is beautiful, comfortable fresh. We love it here. We visited Mode Cafe on a whim for dinner, and overall had a good experience. The staff were friendly and kind, which made us feel welcome right away. For starters, we tried the chicken dumplings. They were well cooked and flavorful, though they did tend to fall apart a little. For mains, we ordered the protein bowl salad. It was fresh and satisfying, but the flavors were a bit flat until we added some salt and soy sauce to bring it to life. We also had the beef tandoori, but asked for it to be served in a taco wrap instead of a bun. That was easily the star of the meal—we loved it so much! The drinks were our least favorite part. The strawberry lemonade in particular tasted very synthetic and didn’t quite hit the mark. All in all, Mode Cafe was a nice spot with friendly service, solid food, and a few things that could be improved. We went for dinner, but I think it would be even better to visit for brunch and try their brunch menu instead. Worth a visit if you're in the area
