A star for location. Being in the CBD makes this place convenient and accessible. A star for the pricing. Fair prices, big portions. A star for the food. Everyone can get something and the menu is not restrictive. The service was okay. The washrooms are not great. The ambience is lacking. I got 2 pancakes, the Somali coffee, 2 sausages and 2 samosas. It was okay. I spent KES 590. If you are looking for a quiet space to have a meeting, I think this would work.

My friends and I visited Top Rise on the 9th of June and the experience was okay. We arrived at around 21:00 and made our orders. The waitress was patient enough and helped when we asked questions about the meals. We ordered stir fry chicken, chicken tikka and butter chicken. My two friends were satisfied with their meals but I wasn't. My butter chicken wasn't the best and it tasted a bit bitter and the cabbage was stuffy. The waitress was also not honest about the order not coming with an accompaniment, meaning the rice served with it was charged. The butter chicken itself is 800 kes, mind you. Apparently the only thing that is not charged when you select it as a side is chapati. My friend who also got the stir fry and rice, was charged extra. Leaving out information can easily disorganizes someone especially when you had a budget in mind. Aside from that the other meals were okay. Great space and dinning area, coupled with great service. The food was delicious, had a simple meal of fries and Fish fillet strips. The potion was a little small however, especially for the fries. Their Oreo Milkshake was amazing, and I had to restrain myself to not get a second glass. Overall, good food and service, would recommend.

The physical architecture of the dining space demonstrates an unconscionable dereliction of capacity planning. The restaurant is egregiously oversaturated, maintaining a seating density that engenders a palpably claustrophobic and highly volatile milieu. The intolerable proximity of adjacent tables renders any attempt at private discourse futile and speaks to a flagrant disregard for the fundamental comfort of the clientele. This spatial constriction was merely the precursor to further systemic failures, initiated by the perfunctory and ultimately abortive handling of our prior reservation.
