Paul Pieuchot★★★★★Great experiences don’t beg for attention, they linger and stay with you. Such can be said of Aleb. The setting is refined and intimate, cozy and welcoming. The food is rich with flavors, a taste of Lebanon with an innovative twist. The passion transpires in every dish. I’m glad the kitchen is open so the chefs could catch the nods of awe and excitement at every dish. You leave with the one regret of not having been able to taste everything, already looking forward to coming back to be wowed again ! A bientôt
Pao Ibrahim★★★★★A Culinary Masterpiece in the Heart of Beirut! This restaurant is a true gem in Beirut’s vibrant Mar Mikhael. From the charming ambiance to the flawless service, everything was outstanding. The menu was a masterpiece! fresh food, perfectly cooked, and a decadent dessert that was pure bliss. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate, making the experience even more memorable. With its prime location and world-class Lebanese cuisine with a twist, this spot is an absolute must-visit. Five stars all the way!
Georges Rahbani★★★★★This restaurant does not disappoint. With a menu that offers a creative twist on traditional Lebanese dishes, also prides itself on its selection of natural wines, which perfectly complement the bold and aromatic dishes. Eliane Abi Nader★★★★★An authentic Lebanese kitchen that truly captures the flavors of the Mediterranean. Fresh ingredients, rich spices, and traditional recipes come together to create a memorable dining experience. Each dish feels homemade, offering a taste of Lebanon’s culinary heritage in every bite.
Elissar Boujaoude★★★★★Truly outstanding food, service and cadre. The chef elevates the humble potato and eggplant to exquisite dishes worthy of Michelin stars. I loved the balanced flavors not overwhelmed by garlic and onions (the usual in Lebanon). Even their madeleine qualifies for Madeleine de Proust.
Liz Warner★★★★★One of my absolute favorite new restaurants in Beirut! I consider any trip to Lebanon as a pure 'food pilgrimage' and discovering Aleb blew me away. Each dish combined very comforting, traditional Lebanese flavors with unusual combinations. Topped with mind-blowing delicious Lebanese natural wine. A true first of its kind in Beirut and one to be cherished. Co-owner Pascal was so warm and inviting, making the whole experience very intimate and cosy.
